The Lantern Marches

Background and story
Rootbound stairs and white bridges lead to a canal city. Lamps remember small acts of kindness along the road. In spring, the city carries its lights together in the Lamp Walk.
The company travels through the Marches by following roads and waymarks. Bridges, lamps and crossings recur throughout the journey because the land’s communities depend on paths between them.
The Lamp Walk brings the custom of remembrance into a shared procession. The company learns about the region through the promises encountered along its roads.
